Where we deliver, how long it takes, and what to do if your meal doesn't arrive.

Hot meals are time-sensitive. This policy covers where we deliver, when, and what to do if your order doesn’t go to plan.

Where we deliver

Biryani Place

We deliver from our Kharadi outlet to areas around Pune east via Swiggy and Zomato. Their apps show whether your address is in range. For dine-in or pickup, we’re open daily — call ahead for large orders.

BlinkDish

BlinkDish is launching in Pune first. The app shows whether your delivery address is in our serviceable radius before you finalise your subscription. We expand neighbourhood by neighbourhood as we onboard restaurants and riders — join the waitlist on the home page to be notified when we reach you.

Delivery times

  • Single orders typically arrive within 30–45 minutes of the kitchen confirming your order, depending on traffic and weather.
  • BlinkDish subscriptions deliver inside the time window you choose (e.g. 12:30–1:15 pm for lunch). The app shares a tighter ETA as the rider approaches.
  • Late at night, monsoon, or surge eventscan extend timings. We’ll keep you updated in the app.

Fees & minimums

Delivery fees and minimum order values, where applicable, are shown in the app before you confirm. Subscription plans bundle delivery into the plan price. For aggregator orders (Swiggy / Zomato), their fees and platform charges apply per their terms.

Cold chain & food safety

We pack hot food in insulated bags and cold food in temperature- appropriate containers. Riders are trained to keep packages level and avoid cross-mixing hot and cold items. If a meal arrives outside a safe temperature window, please don’t consume it — contact us via the app or email and we’ll arrange a refund or replacement following our Refunds & Cancellations policy.

Tracking your order

You’ll see live status in the relevant app: order received, being prepared, picked up, on the way, delivered. For BlinkDish, the live map shows the rider’s approach when they’re within roughly 10 minutes of you. For Swiggy/Zomato orders, use their app for tracking.

Missed or delayed deliveries

  • If your order is significantly delayed, contact us through the app — we’ll check in with the rider and the kitchen and give you a real ETA.
  • If the rider couldn’t reach you (wrong address, locked gate, no answer), they’ll wait a reasonable time and try to call. If we still can’t deliver, the order may be treated as delivered. Please update your address and contact number in the app to avoid this.

Address accuracy

Please give us your full address — building, floor, flat number, landmark — and a phone number that’s reachable. The single biggest cause of cold meals is a missing landmark or unreachable phone. If you’re ordering to an office, gate, or hostel, check that visitors can be received at the requested time.
